THROUGH THE GARDEN GATE - TORONTO BOTANICAL GARDEN ANNUAL FUNDRAISING EVENT
Swansea Village Garden Tour on June 11 and 12, 2011
Toronto Botanical Garden approached Gatherings Event Planning for the third consecutive year to organize and manage their annual fundraising event called Through the Garden Gate. The event is one of the largest garden tours in Ontario and has been organized by the Toronto Botanical Garden for over 20 years. Each year the tour highlights a different Toronto neighbourhood, and 25 private gardens have been chosen in Swansea Village to showcase this year.
Gatherings has been instrumental in organizing the logistical details that have allowed the TBG to achieve amazing success and exceed their fundraising target year after year.
Toronto Botanical Garden (TBG) is a volunteer-based, charitable organization whose purpose is to inspire passion, respect and understanding of gardening, horticulture, the natural landscape and a healthy environment.

TESTIMONIALS
"Hi Kendra:
I am sure you are relieved that the TTGG is finally over. You did a fabulous job. Seeing you in action this weekend was great. You are very patient and easy to work with. The TTGG is so much more complicated and demanding than anyone could imagine and I was glad to see the full scope of the project to really understand your challenges. I am not sure anyone could do a better job than you. You were terrific. I hope you got a well deserved break last night. Thank you for all of your hard work and congratulations on another successful garden tour. Have a great day."

Toronto Botanical Garden"What a fabulous job TTGG committee and you did! I’ve been to (and worked at) many TTGG tours, and this was surely among the best. I loved the gardens, which were so wonderfully eclectic and personal. Of course, it was great to be down by the lake, too. Big, big congratulations to all of you for your fantastic planning and hard work. I heard nothing but praise."
Cheers,
Aldona Satterthwaite, Executive Director
